As a result of a heavy seaquake on Sunday December 26 the coast of several countries around the Indian Ocean were hit by high and destructive tsunami waves. About 300.000 people lost their live. Sri Lanka was the second worst hit country. More than 60.000 people died there are still people missing. Many people lost all their property. The pictures below are taken the first weeks after the Tsunami.
